Piercing

Today I've had my belly pierced.;)
I'm often willing do something with my body to make it look different. This refers to changing hair colour, buying clothes, polishing nails, etc. But I'm still not completely crazy about this, and this is certainly not the only interest of mine. I just enjoy looking different; I suppose this is a usual female feature.
For about four years I have had my ears decorated, 3 piercings in each. But I've always longed to pierce something else)) I used to like Amy Lee's brow clip and wanted the same. I used to like Constance Rudert's nose clip and wanted the same. In fact, I don't remember why I chose belly. Perhaps I was afraid to spoil my face, because face clips do not suit everyone.
So Ulya aka Chaplin, whose sister Polina (we are namesakes) had just finished the course of cosmetology, and I went to the beauty shop. I was a bit nervous, but Polina was so nice to me that I managed to relax. It hurt to feel the gripe on the belly skin crease, but fortunately it didn't last long.
"Pierce my tongue", - Ulya suddenly said. I knew this had been her fixed idea since we had studied at school. Polina hesitated a bit, saying that perhaps mom wouldn't like it. But finally we girls were walking home, having not forgotten to say "Thank you so much!" to dear sister and talking lively about our new acquisitions.
One of these days I'm going to take pics of us happy pierced idiots:) Now it's high time for a cup of warm milk, though we do not have any milk at home. Anyway, my cat has been calling me to bed for about an hour; I think I should respect her solicitude. Good night!

IT hour

I've had an exciting hour this morning, sitting in the classroom of St.Petersburg State Polytechnic University and listening to the lecture about Unix operating systems. My dear le_ange_clair took me there. Though I hardly understood anything, I realised that all the things said are a part of the complicated world of the IT. I even regretted I don't have potential for doing maths, because maths is also a valid language and once you can speak it your perspectives are great. I passionately envy people who have the skill and inclination. And I'm beginning to fear that the things I can do, I mean linguistics, are getting less and less useful in our computerised world; sometimes I feel abandoned and helpless being not able to fix a software problem. Still, I'm not a complete dumb concerning computers; I'm just a little schooled.

I started this blog some time ago and was ready to delete my basic one, but then understood that it was no good starting the same thing here again. So after a while I decided to turn this one into some kind of exercise-book. Of course this doesn't down-grade the diary function:)
